“Extra! Extra! Read All About It! Exercise And Daily Activity Will Bolster Your Immune System!”

As a whole, we know that exercise and activity are important parts of our lives for a myriad of reasons. Everything from helping us sleep better at nights, to creating an environment to help get rid of stress (by lifting all the heavy things). One of the more not so common, or thought of facts, is how activity helps us boost our immune system against all the current and new threats that we’re facing. The general and recommended goal is to achieve 150min of moderate exercise or activity a week. That can be broken up however you would see fit. This could include everything from walking, hiking, biking, swimming, running, jogging…maybe even CrossFit or Spark(hint, hint). Being in isolation without access to gyms and sports clubs should not mean that we stop exercising or getting out for these activities. Keeping up regular, daily exercise at a time when much of the world is going into isolation, will continue to play an important role in helping to maintain a healthy immune system and lifestyle.

Now, I understand that this might be easier said than done, but aren’t you worth that investment? We spend so much time and energy on other aspects of life and sometimes put our physical health on the side thinking we’ll get to it later. I ask you not to do that anymore. Even if it’s not coming in to 926 due to a schedule confrontation, do yourself a favor and get some activity in your day. You’ll appreciated in the long run.

Everything we’ve been discussing the past several weeks builds on each other. Sleep, positive habits, Magnesium, Stress, Vitamin C, and now exercise, all play important roles in our daily life and support one another.

So, do yourself a favor, get some good rest, take your vitamins and minerals, focus on creating positive habits, and get your body moving!
