This summer, we tackled an intense 6-week strength cycle, building a solid foundation of raw strength and movement quality. Once that base was established, we shifted gears into a unilateral strength cycle — focusing on single-sided work to identify and correct any imbalances.
From there, we transitioned into an endurance phase, where we pushed our limits with longer conditioning pieces, refined running technique, and added foot prehab to keep everyone moving efficiently and safely.
Now that we’ve built strength, balance, and endurance, it’s time to put it all together in our Strength Under Fatigue Cycle. In this phase, you’ll often see endurance work before the strength portion — testing how well you can move heavy loads while under fatigue.
The goal? To challenge not just your muscles, but your mental focus and heart rate control. Learning to regulate your breathing and recover quickly isn’t just key for performance in the gym — it’s a skill that carries into everyday life.
This cycle will take us right up to Thanksgiving, where we’ll wrap things up with a round of testing to see how far you’ve come. After that, with kids on winter break, travel, and holiday chaos in full swing, we’ll close out the year with some December Hero WOD fun — a perfect way to finish strong before kicking off the new year.
Get ready — the best is yet to come! 💥
